Margaret Bramhill is a lawyer at KBA Law and one of its founding members.
Margaret’s practice encompasses a broad range of civil and employment litigation. She provides individuals with strategic legal advice at every stage of their career. Margaret’s primary focus is the successful resolution of your matter- on your terms.
Margaret’s area of focus is employment law and she regularly advises employees on a variety of legal matters from the negotiation of employment offers to wrongful terminations, constructive dismissals, human rights disputes and workplace sexual harassment and assault claims.
Margaret also advises companies on employment-related matters, including compliance with applicable workplace laws as well as the drafting and negotiation of employment agreements for prospective candidates.
Margaret will work to get you the result you are looking for in the most efficient manner possible and supports the use of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in order to do so. Margaret recognizes however, that some matters may only be resolved through formal legal processes and has experience appearing before masters and judges in the Ontario Superior Court.
Before joining KBA Law, Margaret practiced as an employment lawyer and litigator at a preeminent litigation boutique in downtown Toronto.
Margaret obtained her J.D. from Queen’s University in 2009 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2010.
Margaret volunteers with Pro Bono Law Ontario (PBLO) and is a committee member of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF).
Audrey is a partner at Beard Winter LLP and practices exclusively in the area of family law. She is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the Law Society of Upper Canada. She represents and assists parties with matters such as property division, parenting and access, child support, spousal support, cohabitation agreements and marriage contracts. She regularly appears before all levels of court in Ontario on behalf of her clients, as well as at mediations and arbitrations. She has specific expertise in the area of private adoptions.
Audrey received her LL.B. from Queen’s University in 1998 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2000. In addition, Audrey holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in history, and a Master of Library Science (M.L.S.) degree.
Audrey has moderated family law nutshells for the Toronto Lawyers’ Association for the past 3 years. She is also a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Canadian Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and the Advocates’ Society and acts as an Advisor for the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Coach and Advisor Network (CAN) for lawyers and paralegals.
Audrey is married and is the proud mother of three children.
Zahra is a real estate lawyer who is retained on the purchase and sale of all classes of properties, and on associated financing and leasing matters. She has previously lectured for the Law Society of Upper Canada, as well as the Toronto Lawyers Association, on topics related to real estate law.
