Perry Mazzone was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1984. Since that time he has worked exclusively as a litigator, primarily in the area of corporate/commercial disputes but also in areas involving shareholder disputes, professional liability (lawyers/accountants/financial planners) securities law, personal injury law, employment law and estate litigation. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Civil Litigation (Vancouver) section of the B.C. Branch of the Association. He was on the Executive of that section for four years and was Chair of the section in 1995 1996. He has also sat as a member or chair of a number of committees reviewing various legislation and court rules. He has been a lecturer for the Professional Legal Training Course and a presenter for CLE BC. He is a past member of the Provincial Council of the CBABC. He is a lecturer for the Trial Advocacy course at UBC Law. Mr. Mazzone is past chair of the Richmond Public Library Board and a past member of the Richmond Caring Place Board, Richmond’s Citizens’ Advisory Committee on Policing, and the Richmond Task Force on Crime Prevention. Mr. Mazzone is presently a member of the Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal.
