The Middlesex Law Association (MLA) hosts this webinar dealing with pediatric traumatic brain injuries. The panelists, Andrew Leroy Rudder, Kirsten Smith, and Evelyn ten Cate, present an overview of the strategic approaches and problems that arise when dealing with catastrophic brain injuries for children, and the new definition under the SABS.
The diverse panel examines catastrophic injury cases from both the plaintiff and defence perspective. They provide relevant information on changes to the SABS, and explain who is qualified to do the KOSCHI assessment.
The speakers also discuss the history of CAT criteria, the importance of crafting persuasive arguments based on medical research, and the application process for OCF-19.
