Carol Craig's presentation is set for 15 minutes. Her presentation will address the issues that arise when dealing with vulnerable clients (aging client 's in family law with capacity issues), including elder abuse situations. This focuses on client services, and professionalism.

Client Service - making legal services available to vulnerable groups and access to justice principles. Recognizing and being sensitive to client circumstances.

This presentation will address access to justice and the professionalism issues by discussing our obligations and response to the Justice Bonkalo report that recommend expanding the provision of family law legal services to include paralegals.

Carol Craig

Carol taught with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board for several years before pursuing her legal studies at the University of Ottawa. Carol graduated from law school in 2006 and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2007. She practises in the areas of family law and estate litigation. Carol is a life-long, devoted, animal lover and is kept busy outside of work running after her Skye Terrier, Grady, and his feline companions.

Mary Cybulski

Jane Murray

Jane Murray is a partner at Burke-Robertson, practicing in the areas of family law and estates. She has a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Waterloo and an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. Jane articled with Burke-Robertson and has been with the firm since being called to the Bar in 1984. She is currently a member of the CCLA, the Family Law Rules Committee, and Legal Co-Chair for the LifeSaving Society of Canada. Jane has been a seminar leader at the Bar Admission Course for both family law and estates.
