Aaron Franks was called to the Bar of Ontario in1998, and received his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School (1996), and an M.B.A from the Schulich School of Business (1996). Since Aaron's call to the bar in 1998, he has practiced exclusively in the areas of family law (and related areas) and in the defence of solicitor's negligence claims. Aaron has acted as counsel at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He is regularly referred appellate work by his peers and consulted for strategic advice. Aaron also acts as a mediator and arbitrator. Aaron has been appointed as a Dispute Resolution Officer for the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto. He is an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School where he teaches family law, and he is an Associate Editor of the Reports of Family Law. He was also an instructor with the Family Law Section of the Bar Admission Course. Aaron is currently Co-Chair of the Six-Minute Family Lawyer, and he is frequently asked to author papers and to present at legal education programs in Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. His papers and articles have been published in a wide variety of books and other publications. He is married with three children. In 2015, Aaron was named family law "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyer International.
Roslyn Tsao is the Managing Partner at Epstein Cole. Roslyn graduated from the University of Toronto Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993. Roslyn Tsao has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario for family law, jurisdictional and complex financial matters. Roslyn is also a mediator/arbitrator and trained in Collaborative Practice. Roslyn is an associate editor of the Reports of Family Law and a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. She is an Associate Chair of the University Tribunal, University of Toronto for academic discipline.
