Heather Cross

Heather has been running a business as a freelance lawyer and legal writer since 2010. Prior to that, she worked for over three years as a legal analyst for the Cornwall Public Inquiry. She articled at a firm in downtown Ottawa that practiced in the areas of civil litigation, real estate and wills and estates. Heather graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa law school in 2005 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2006. While in law school, she volunteered as an assistant editor for the University of Ottawa Law Review and with Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights (CLAIHR). Heather received an Honours degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Western Ontario in 1998. Heather has a love of travel and has lived abroad. She has an avid interest in yoga and has completed her Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, in 2006 and Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training, in 2010.
