Sandra Bekhor President

Sandra Bekhor founded Bekhor Management in 2005 to enable professionals to realize the vision for their practice from start-up through to succession planning, through business and marketing strategies.

From lawyers to architects, doctors and accountants - Sandra has helped small to mid-sized, professional practices successfully emerge in the modern marketplace, with meaningful marketing that stands out from the crowd and the leadership development necessary to sustain it.

Sandra regularly speaks, teaches and writes about practice development for various professional associations and publications including CBA PracticeLink and SlawTips. In partnership with the TLA, Sandra co-founded, ‘Keeping it Social’, a LinkedIn group for lawyers that meets quarterly to learn practice tips and network.

Sandra is the instructor for the RAIC’s 'Marketing for Architects' course. She is also writing a chapter for the 2nd edition of ‘Marketing Techniques for Law and Professional Practices’, to be published by the American Bar Association in the Spring of 2021.

Jared Brown

Jared Brown is a Trial Lawyer from Toronto, litigating commercial disputes and employment matters.

Mr. Brown has been practising since 2002, initially as a partner in a litigation firm, and since 2014 as Lead Counsel of Brown Litigation.

Mr. Brown advises and represents businesses and organizations in risk management and dispute resolution.  Litigating before the Superior Court, Court of Appeal, and various administrative tribunals (including the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and the Ontario Labour Relations Board), Mr. Brown has developed a reputation as a trusted advisor, and a professional and successful litigator.

Through Mr. Brown’s advocacy experience, he has come to recognize the special and historic role of lawyers as defenders and champions of individual rights and freedoms, and as a bulwark to administrative state overreach.

In May of 2017, Mr. Brown joined Dr. Jordan B. Peterson testifying before the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs committee on government compelled speech.  Testimony that has been viewed over 1 million times on Youtube.

Mr. Brown spoke at length about authoritarian initiatives emanating from the Law Society in a series of youtube discussions with Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Professor Bruce Pardy of Queen’s Law.

In February 2018, Mr. Brown joined Bruce Pardy, Mr. Paul Schabas (Treasurer of the Law Society), and Mr. Paul Seguil (Chair of the Law Society’s Equity Group) in a CIJA/UJA panel discussion on the Law Society’s requirement for a Statement of Principles.

Most recently, Mr. Brown joined Lindsay Shepherd, Dr. Debra Soh, and Barbara Kay in a panel discussion on compelled speech.

Lauren E. Karatanevski

Dr. Lauren Karatanevski is an evidenced-based chiropractic practitioner and is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).  Prior to attending CMCC, Lauren received a full athletic scholarship to the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in springboard and platform diving.  She obtained an honours degree in Exercise and Sports Science.   While attending CMCC, Lauren completed the Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture course.  She also worked as a Certified Kinesiologist.  She has a passion for helping people rehabilitate and recover from injuries suffered while participating in sports and everyday activities.  A Toronto native, Lauren is active in the community and has volunteered and raised money for well-known organizations, such as "The Heart and Stroke Foundation", "The Geneva Center for Autism", and the "Second Harvest Food Drive."
