Kurt Anders graduated from Carleton University in 1968 with a B.A. in Political Science. He later attended the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and received his LL.B. in 1971. Kurt was called to the Ontario Bar in 1973. Since then, he has practiced law in the areas of: Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Wills & Estates, Corporate & Commercial Law. Kurt is fluent in both English and German and happy to provide legal services in either language. Outside of his professional duties, Kurt is the former President of the German Canadian Business Association, the German Language School in Ottawa, and the Amberwood Golf & Country Club. He is a member of the Carleton Country Law Association and the Law Society of Ontario.
Alexandra Manthorpe is a member of the Wills & Estates group at Cunningham Swan Lawyers in Kingston, Ontario. Currently her focus is estate and trust planning, business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Outside of work, Alexandra is a busy mother of three and enjoys hockey, golf, camping, canoeing, hiking, traveling and visiting art galleries and museums.
Alexandra Tzannidakis, LL.B. practices charity & non-profit, corporate, and tax law. Alexandra serves clients across Canada, including individuals as well as organizations of all sizes. She is dedicated to working closely with her clients to identify their needs and offer practical, effective solutions. Alexandra helps her clients navigate the complex world of taxes, corporations, and non-profit/charity regulations. Alexandra attended McGill University and the University of Leicester before articling with Drache Aptowitzer LLP and being called to the Ontario bar in 2013. She has served on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association’s Charities & Notfor-profit Section and as the director of a charity. She has appeared before the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
